Well it's time to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone and hope that 2010 brings better tidings to all. I am excited to let you all know that after working hard for some time now a man who has brought several blues artists to the EU including Robert Lucas from my old band the Heat, has hooked up with me to start coming back to the EU once again. It is a real fine lineup that I think you will all enjoy. We are doing Switzerland and Austria on this winter leg and plan to expand elsewhere this summer and fall. I know a lot of fans have been asking me "when are you coming back over?" Well now its finalized and we will be there from Jan 20-30. Latest news: Well the trip to Switzerland was a huge success! We had great audiences every night and the venues loved it as well. They all said "come back anytime"! So, we are working on a tour to the U.K., for the end of June and then some dates working our way down to Switzerland again for some more dates. Stay tuned for more info as it comes....thanks to all the old fans who showed as well as the many new ones we made......it was a ball!
December 30, 2009 Well I will finally be traveling back to the EU in January. Check the "Tour" page for the Venues and Dates. It is a short tour but, nevertheless I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!! I hope that many of my friends from the Canned Heat days will be able to make some of the shows......Can't wait to see yah!!!!!!!

Well for those of you who made it, you know.....for those of you who did not make it, YOU MISSED THE DELUXE 30 YEAR REUNION!....The crowd was ready and so was the band.....I think we may have rocked their sox off......at least that what they were saying....glad those of you who made it did....and sorry for those of you who did not..........IT WAS A GREAT TIME......

Well we just got back after doing some dates with Alto Reed of Bob Seger fame as "Alto Reed and the Blues Entourage in Aspen and Avon Colorado. The dates went GREAT!. We even had John Oates of Hall & Oates fame come by. He sat in with us Friday nite at the Bellyup Aspen and had such a great time that he wanted and did come up and join us for the show with the Neville Bros in Avon....This was real special for all as not only did John set in with us but, the Nevilles asked him to set in with them.....what a July 4th special it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The gig at Cozy's went great! We heard after the fact that Sheryl Crow stopped by and had a great time as well!!!! Stay tuned for a follow up date there.
There is going to be a "Deluxe Band" reunion on September 5, 2009 in Felton Ca. at "Don Quixotes". It will be with the original line-up. Stay tuned for more details. Check out their website and ours......

You can find the program on the web at www.rtvpurmerend.nl .Then look for LIVE RADIO STREAM and click on to it. The show is on Fridays and starts at 9:00 p.m.til 11:00 p.m. But if you type in the "keyword search" for "Bluesiana", you will find there are quite a few stations here in the U.S. that carry the program as well.
You can also hear us on WHFR.fm Dearborn, Mi., WCSX.fm Detroit,Mi.,KPIG.fm Freedom, Ca., KZSC.fm Santa Cruz,Ca. And these are just a few....feel free to email or phone your request......They all love to get requests!!!
BRAND SPANKING NEW!.......Back in the mid to late 1980's I had a band with Skip VanWinkl, Ian Wallace and David Woodford. We did a few gigs for Eddie Tuduri and Unicef. We did this for several years and as of today my old friend Art Dansker has put up some video clips from then.....they are on YOUTUBE. You find them on my site there. I highly recommend you check them out as they are a real HOOT!...
