Well we just got back after doing some dates with Alto Reed of Bob Seger fame as "Alto Reed and the Blues Entourage" in Aspen and Avon  Colorado. The dates went very well. We even had John Oates of Hall & Oates fame come by. He sat in with us Friday nite at the Bellyup Aspen and had such a great time that he wanted and did come up and set in with us for the show with the Neville Bros in Avon....This was real special for all as not only did John set in with us but, the  Nevilles asked him to set in with them.....what a July 4th special it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Now for the gig alert.....We have been invited back to Cozy's on Ventura Blvd on July 24th...a Friday nite. Remember to make sure you can get a table, it is advised that you make dinner reservations. 818-986-6000. Showtime is at 9:30 p.m.

For those of you who knew me when I came to California in 1978, you know that after we landed in Santa Cruz we teamed up with Stever Marriott of Humble Pie fame and did some shows in the Cruz as well as recorded some tunes which ended up with him teaming up with some of the guys from Humble Pie and releasing a new album. Steve even cut some tracks on us at that time which never made it to the market place. This was when I had the band "Deluxe".

Well after  25 years we are going to do a "Deluxe"  reunion at (link to their site: Don Quixotes in Felton )on September 5th(Saturday Nite).
It will be the original members:
Gary (Diz)  Putnam on drums.....He is actually flying in from Hawaii....
George Limburg on Guitar and vocals
Andy Herb  aka (Drew Charles) on bass and vocals
Jimmy Hannibal on Saxes
and me Dallas Hodge at the helm.

We are planning that the place will be packed and jumping to the old set lists of yonder years....including your favorite ELDORADO...and many more!..So plan early and get your tickets in advance....and as always...you don't know what special guests will drop by and set in.....stay tuned.....
