AMERICA'S SWEETHEARTS

You will laugh out loud, briefly and in spurts. To again quote the great assistant director "it is what it is" and that is a date movie that doesn't work. It was so predictable that you could walk out after the first hour and know what the ending was. BUT DON'T their is a very funny scene towards the end that is worth the whole price of admission! Guys will find the scene funny and somewhat uncomfortable!

Every actor in this movie is good and plays the part well, but the script was lacking that.....date movie thing.

In Pretty Woman you never really knew how the two would get together, so the ending was sweet.

In Sleepless In Seattle you didn't really know if the two meet, and the ending (with the bear) was date movie sweet.

You've Got Mail used a dog to enhance the sweet ending.

When Harry Met Sally, oh we all watch that for Meg Ryan simulating an orgasm!

Yes date movies are always predictable, but the good ones have a little twist that make them sweet.

America's Sweethearts does not have that twist (there is a twist and a funny one) but it lacks the sweetness.
