Hello again, Dallas and thanks a lot for your mail with your information about gigs in Switzerland next year. It´s really nice to hear, that you will come across the pond, but I´m afraid Switzerland is too far for me. In addition I always spend my summer holidays with my family. So I would be very happy, if you and your band could come to Germany before or after summer:-))))) Love, Kerstin V. from Oschatz/Germany

You were with a friend (Wayne?) and he said that's his - It sure is, It's a great song as you are a great player - I really enjoyed hearing you. Can't wait for another Motor City appearence - well, ok I can wait, but come back soon anyway. Russell

Hey Dallas..Gotta tell you, I sure enjoyed You at the Blues By The River Fest in Redding. It was a real treat to play with you Friday night at Lu Lu's when you got into town. Your playing and what you bring to the stage lit my harp work up to a point I had to put um in the fridge to cool um down. And Sat after the fest with you and the horns.......man, what a sound. Listened to your disc 4 times headin back to Santa Rosa. Builds real nice..blistering solo on Rock Me Baby. A great record all the way around. Was a pleasure to meet you and a great memory I have after playin with you. Thanks, and look forward to catchin you on the turn around.... Harmonica Bill Noteman ...Bill Noteman and the Rockets.

Hi Dallas, great to read that you and your band are coming to Germany for concerts, too. Very bad for me is, that just for that time I have booked my summer holiday. Why don´t you come before or after summer to Germany. I would really like to hear and see you in concert. Anyway, all the best to you. See you anytime, Kerstin V.
[4:00:15 AM| 4/24/2007, ]
Last time we hooked up was in our basement at the "Promenade Palace" during the days of the "Red Carpet" late 70s. Came home, and Ron Angel had you guy's set up in the basement. Took me 25 minutes to get to my room, now that was great. But you know your having a good time, when the neighbor down the block comes to yout door at 5:00 AM in the morning, the next day, and asks "Can you have you have the person who has parked the two cars in my driveway move, so I can go to work. He lived 1 block down from our house... Douglas M. Casamer...Alive and semi well in the Armada Countryside. Keep on Rocking

Dallas - If you want to stop the SPAM thing--and believe me it won't stop by itself no matter how nice you ask--simply set up a login for anyone that wants to use this site and then have them login in to make comments. It's a good way to keep track of your firends and it becomes too much trouble for the knuclkeheads that want to just SPAM your site. George Perry

Hi Dallas, for ages I´ve been coming to your homepage again and what great message can I read? You are comíng across the pond to Europe this year - Phantastic!!!! But I could not see any gig dates in Germany. I hope very, very much, that you will come with your band to Germany, too. I would recommend you some nice pubs, if you are interested in. For instance: "Anker" in Leipzig, "Tante Ju" in Dresden, "Tivoli" in Freiberg --> These are some of my favourite clubs, in which also other great bands were playing (Gwyn Ashton +Band, Jonny Winter+ phantastic local bands too). Best wishes from Kerstin V. Oschatz, Germany

hi, dallas. I just remember your name from when I was trying to get into the local music scene in detroit; now I'm in arkansas, just playing local bars for pocket change. I did see catfish lead in for bob seger at east detroit high school; seger had just released "beautiful loser." and I used to go see rick manasa's band, "rocky road," with my buddy and his, larry meldrum. I have been corresponding with loretta behrens, who I believe is the sister of a member of canned heat; I know loretta from her previous profession, and you probably know all about that. keep fighting the good fight. gjdodger, "gentry road," macon, arkansas

Hi Dallas; I never forgot you after all this time. I hope you remember me. Tom Logue cheated me out of playing with you and Bradly Fogel in the infamous UNIROYALS. I've been over your house on Cadieux many times. We went to Finney High together. This one may really try your memory. You were playing with one of your bands and were setting up in the main ball room of the GARWOOD MANSION. I was playing keyboards with you , on the Pipe Organ that was built into the wall of that room. Man, I could go on and on. I've thrown your name into the internet several times in the past and came up empty. I couldn't even find anything of substance on your brother Bob. I now live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have a 100 watt Marshall and a 150 watt Johnson Millenium Stereo guitar amp. I have a couple guitars , but play mostly my PRS Santana w/whammy bar. I have a 128 track digital recording studio with a 1000 watt p.a. in my living room. I'm currently putting together an Entertainment and Television Network on the internet @ www.lasvegastelevisionetwork.com -www.lvtvn.com . You, Bill Danza, Jimmie McCarty and George Linberg were always the best guitar players I knew personally, other than me. When the Rockets wern't on tour and they were playing around in the bars in Detroit, Frank Ramsey fronted and sang lead vocals and I backed up Jimmy on guitar. We were always in Michal G's bar in Hamtramick. One night in Michael G's, the first night back for The Rockets from touring and fronting for Kiss, I was filling in on slide guitar . The rockets started playing and I was on stage doing nothing but holding and drinking from my Budweiser Beer Bottle. Just standing and drinking on stage with my guitar strapped around my neck and pluggedin. The whole bar, I could read their eyes, was looking at me kind-a funny, as if to say "what the fuck is he doing" ! I had a surprise for them. When the time was right I laid that Budweiser Beer Bottle down onto my strings and gave-em hell. After that set Jimmy McCarty came over and said "Pat, that was the most awesome Budweiser Beer Bottle Slide Guitar I Ever Heard." I really thought a lot of Jimmy and that really made me feel good. That's how I got together with the following group. In the early 1990's I played lead guitar with The Ambouy Dukes with founding members Steve Farmer and Rick Lober. We even toured Southeastern Michigan with Kim Simmons and Savoy Brown. I was standing back stage with the Dukes and Kim Simmons and asked Steve Farmer; "Steve, with the hundreds of guitar players you've seen and heard at jam sessions all over the Detroit area, why did you guys pick me to play Lead guitar for the Ambouy Dukes?" Steve Farmer said;"Frankly Pat, you're the ONLY guitar player we found that could fill Ted's shoes." But Dallas, You were always my favorite. I KNOW you can still kick ass! There's a million venues to play at here in Las Vegas. All the old bands are playing here. Grand Funk and Mitch Ryder etc... You should too!!! You , George Linberg, Jimmy McCarty and Bill Danza were always the best guitar players I knew personally. Do you have any info on George Linberg, like what's he up to, where he's at and maybe a phone number. You can call me any time buddy. I'd like to hear from you. I need an up-date on your life since the East Side of Detroit. I miss Mamma Rosa's Pizza, but I don't miss shoveling snow. Get back to me buddy. Patrick Potter - 702-806-8105.
